Day Spa Association Committees
Our Advisory Board has created a committee structure which encompasses every pertinent Day Spa Industry issue and need. The work of our committees is vital to the future of the Day Spa Industry.
Becoming a member of any of our committees is an important opportunity for you to influence the direction of our organization and to make a difference in our industry. Individual member input is paramount to our mission and we value the experience and unique expertise of our members. We also recognize that our members are busy business owners; therefore, the majority of the committee work is accomplished by teleconferencing and via email between and amongst committee members and the committee Chair.

All applications to participate on DSA committees will be considered by the DSA Advisory Board in consultation with the committee Chair.
Education:
This committee develops & Implements Business Education Forums that are pertinent to the day spa industry. The committee is responsible for recruiting expert speakers and selecting contemporary topics to help spa businesses succeed and grow.
Industry Research:
This committee develops research and studies that keeps a pulse on industry trends, and the challenges facing the spa industry.
Legislation:
This committee is proactive with respect to legislation and regulations that impact on the spa industry. In addition, this committee promulgates our member code of conduct, standards and ethics.
Membership:
This committee develops and implements strategies for recruiting new members and provides our members with networking opportunities. This committee is also responsible for developing cost saving member benefits.
Industry Alliances:
This committee develops strategic alliances to subsidize the work of our organization. This support allows us to provide valuable resources and events for our members.
International Chapters:
This committee provides essential support for the development of the spa industry in other countries and territories.
Charity & Special Events:
This committee manages & promotes DSA Charity events and assists Day Spa owners in the development of charitable events on a local basis.
